In addition to our regular classes, and bootcamp, Centerville CrossFit  has an in-house Licensed Massage Therapist, Amie Freeman. Many of you already know Amie as one of our trainers, and who better to address those aches and pains than someone who understands the movements you are doing each day? Below is a note from Amie. We hope you will all take full advantage of this new opportunity and allow her to move you towards more efficient recovery and better overall health:


I became a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in 2008, then immediately achieved the National Certification of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in 2009. I’m a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). I’m very excited to be offering massage therapy to our CCF athletes.I specialize in Sports Massage & Deep Tissue Massage and I also offer Chair Massage and Swedish Massage.


Anyone can benefit from sports massage; it’s not just for athletes. But with CCF athletes in mind, sports massage can be extremely helpful in many ways; it can reduce pain from injury or muscle tightness, help prevent injury, improve range of motion and flexibility, shorten recovery time, improve motor control, improve nutrient supply to tissues and also aid in many other physiological and psychological factors such as helping with training focus or easing performance anxiety. Sports massage is a great supplement to your training plan whether you are crossfitting for fitness or training for the games!
