Mitch is one of the original CrossFit trainers in the Dayton Area. He saw great potential in his passion for CrossFit and founded Centerville CrossFit out of a small corner space in a MMA gym; a place where future goals would be challenged and hard work pays off.

Mitch brings a rich athletic background to his coaching. In high school Mitch was a 2 time Ohio State wrestling qualifier and competed at the collegiate level at ONU. After being sidelined by a shoulder injury, Mitch competed as a professional MMA fighter. Although he loved the ring, he wanted to show his love for CrossFit by becoming a coach and a CrossFit competitor.

Mitch continues to bring the same level of focus and intensity to coaching as he did to knocking out his opponents. Mitch excels in training high caliber CrossFit Competitors and adjusting workouts for beginners and those who may need medical modifications. He has the ability to give the necessary individualized attention while bringing in the feeling of a community into every workout. Mitch has a great passion for training, not only other CrossFit members, but also trainers who are apart of the Centerville CrossFit community.CrossFit South West Regional 2012

She earned her Associates Degree in nursing and has been a practicing RN ever since.

Karina worked in the geriatric population and End of Life Care. She continued to make poor unhealthy lifestyle choices even though she had first hand experience of what those choices would do. She was sedentary and a full time smoker, however she started to realize that something had to change. She quite smoking and obtained the courage to attend her first ever spin class. Karina wanted to up her game, so she joined a couch to 5k program and started running. Eventually leading her down the road to 20 half marathons, 1 full marathon, and a mini-triathlon. One day a friend approached her and recommended she try CrossFit. She became instantly hooked and determined to learn as much as she could from this sport.
