Challenge Winner #1: Deb

On Saturday, the participants of the Eat Clean, Get Lean Challenge celebrated 50 days of clean eating with dinner out. All of our participants did an amazing job at sticking with the challenge, and they have the results to prove it. We chose our two winners, Deb and Bryan, based on the number of cheats they had, their before and after pictures, and the pounds, inches, and millimeters (caliper measure) they lost. For the record, Deb lost 20.66 mm, 6 total inches, and 22.4 lbs!

Deb and Bryan received gift cards to Dick’s and Chipotle, some yummy treats from Earth Fare, and will be treated to a massage. Today we want to share some feedback from Deb in regards to her results. We hope all of our challenge participants inspire you all as much as they’ve inspired us. We look forward to our next challenge, “I am CrossFit”, set to kickoff in January!

What changes have I noticed?

Good grief – where do I begin?

  • Increased energy for sure!
  • No bloating or stomach ache after eating
  • Better sleep
  • I crave good foods
  • I’m more aware of how my 
body is directly affected by the foods I eat.


Why do I like the Paleo lifestyle?

  • Everything mentioned 
  • No need for pills to take care 
of acid reflux – it’s gone
  • I love to cook so trying out 
new recipes is fun
  • When I’m hungry, I eat!
  • There’s no counting or 
  • Oh, and I’ve lost weight! 
I still have a long way to go but feel like I’m off to a great start! Just the difference in my face between the before and after pictures is amazing to me! Maybe I’ll be able to actually do a pull up soon if I can keep losing so I don’t have to pull up as much weight!
