We are so proud of the performance of each of the 55 members who took on Games WOD 12.1. 7 minutes of burpees is no joke, but everyone attacked it and impressed. Of special note is the performance of Jeff Blumer. Jeff recently had surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon, yet has continued to come into the gym and complete the WODs. This Friday was no different, and Jeff busted out an AMAZING 70 burpees. On one leg. In a cast and boot. Wow! So many people would’ve seen this injury as a justifiable reason to take a pass on this workout, but Jeff hit it head on. Once again, great job to everyone. We can’t wait to see what this week’s workout entails!


Community WOD

This Saturday at 10:00 am we will have our free, monthly community workout. This workout is open to anyone who wants to give CrossFit a try and will be our only regular workout of the day. Anyone who attends will have the opportunity to enroll in our Elements courses (a prerequisite for becoming a member, typically $150) for free, or to take 2 weeks of Boot Camp classes for free. Current members who wish to attend must bring a guest, as we are trying to keep the group size reasonable! Interested?
