The Open

It’s hard to believe, but the 2012 CrossFit Games season is just about a month away. For those unfamiliar with the format, the CF Games will work as it did last year. Beginning on February 22, CF gyms around the world will be hosting “Open” workouts once a week. As with all other CF wods, anyone can participate and scale as necessary in order to get a taste of the Games experience. At the end of 5 weeks, those who have submitted scores online may qualify for a chance to compete either as an individual or as part of our official team at Regionals.
We encourage all of our athletes to start thinking about participating in the Open! This is a great way to focus your training and set goals. You may have noticed we have several athletes coming in to complete Games training; if you are also interested in learning more about taking your training to the next level, speak with Becky, Mitch, or Casey about individual programming options!
