I Am CrossFit Update

Our “I Am CrossFit” challenge is up and running! You may have noticed several of our members doing extra work before or after class; this skill specific work has been specifically designed for them by their team coach and will help them reach the goals they’ve set for the 8 week time frame. Additionally, they’ve set measures in several benchmark areas and are focusing on cleaning up their diets. Casey’s team was put through a Strongman workout on Sunday, and all IACF participants will enjoy a skills clinic this Saturday. We are looking forward to seeing the continuous improvements everyone makes!

Community Workout

Believe it or not, it’s time to start registering for the February community WOD, which will take place Saturday, February 4 at 10:00 am. If you know someone who would like to participate, please email his/her name and email address to Meghan at meghan@centervillecrossfit.com. We already have several RSVP’s, and we had to close registration last month due to an overwhelming response, so please get those names in ASAP!


Don’t forget-Yoga with Justine this Saturday at 11:15! There is a $10 drop in fee, and this is a great way to help your body recover from all the WOD’s of the week. Because this is a power yoga class, you will still get your butt kicked! Please bring a yoga mat!

AMRAP 20mins:

20 Walking Lunge Steps L+R=2

10 Body Blasters*

10 Burpees

1 pull-up + 1K2E* So Parter 1 does 20 lunges, then Partner 2 does the 10 bodyblasters and then partner 1 does 10 burpees. They then switch for rnd 2!
